Building upon last year’s exploration of love and relationships, this year, Connections: Kaleidoscope Dreams expands its focus to a broader spectrum of shared human experiences.
Through the distinct yet complementary mediums of paint and clay, the exhibition presents the works of Toluwalase Raymond and Femi James Oniosun. Together, they explore how form, texture, and especially colour can express emotional depth and the nuances of the human experience. The title Kaleidoscope Dreams draws inspiration from the bold and vivid palettes embraced by both artists.
Colour, in this context, is not merely aesthetic; it becomes a language through which emotion is amplified, memory is triggered, and connection is made. The exhibition invites viewers into a vibrant, immersive space where stories are brought to life through detailed brushwork and tactile ceramic forms.
At its heart, Connections: Kaleidoscope Dreams is a celebration of the ties that bind us, a bold, colourful, ever-shifting mosaic of memory, identity, and emotion that reminds us we are never truly alone in our experiences.
