Femi James Oniosun is a Nigerian ceramic artist born and raised in Osun State.

His artistic journey began nearly three years ago after encountering a group of students practicing pottery at his college—a moment that sparked a deep and lasting passion for working with clay.

Before transitioning to ceramics, Femi explored metal sculpture for close to a year. While initially drawn to the structure and form of metal, he eventually found greater fulfillment in the tactile, expressive nature of pottery.
This shift marked a turning point in his creative path, leading him to fully embrace the ceramic arts as his medium of choice.
